STUDY AREA 01. The Science of Shoes

Scientists in Luxembourg are currently developing a system to connect computers; this 'Interconnect' will allow people to pass objects to each other over great distances.

No longer will you have to travel to a sports shop to purchase new training shoes, simply use the 'Interconnect' and pull a new pair straight out of your monitor screen or television. So far scientists have only managed to transfer a goldfish but are confident that the whole system should be up and running within five to twenty years.
